Public Education

While I am sure this will inflame some "public educators", there a few realities about their position that needs to be understood. (Clearly this is not intended for those who already do an excellent job..you know who you are)

1) Parents provide the need for public educators' jobs. If parents were not having children, there would be no need for their positions.

2) Working parents provide public educators paychecks. Every time a teacher or administrator receives a paycheck, it came from the pocket of a working parent. (Not to mention from the pockets of working people who do not have children.)

Therefore, public educators are the employees of parents. We have hired you to educate our children. WE ARE YOUR BOSS. So, begin acting accordingly.

If you can find a valid argument against this, I would certainly like to hear it, otherwise, shape up and start doing what you need to do to save your job because South Carolinians are getting tired of you guys not doing what you have been hired to do. And, remember to treat the parents of the children's you teach with respect and as if they are your boss....becuase THEY ARE!
